Common HydraFacial Questions

What is a HydraFacial?

HydraFacial is a revolutionary facial that deep cleans and hydrates your skin, giving it a gorgeous glow afterward. It goes through 4 steps to help to deep clean, exfoliate, extract unwanted blackheads, and dead skin cells.

Throughout these 4 steps, you will experience the amazing performance of the vortex suction to help clean your skin and infuse helpful serums in your skin. It’s also painless as well - perfect for people with sensitive skin.

What are the benefits of a HydraFacial?

The HydraFacial clears the skin - removes the layer of dead skin cells, blackheads, and create a deep exfoliation with no downtime. The serums added in your skin makes it plump and tight again, making it youthful and gives you glowing skin. The skin pores will look clean and hydrated, giving it a good texture and a tight feel.

How much does a HydraFacial treatment typically cost?

Depending on the HydraFacial treatment that you choose, the HydraFacial will range from $135- $245 per treatment. The differences in price depending on the treatment, length of time, as well as the different treatment serums included in the different packages.

How long does a HydraFacial treatment take?

The Hydrafacial treatment is booked for 30-minute time slots; however, the treatment will be 20 mins in length. A typical HydraFacial will vary between 30 - 75 minutes in length of time based on the Hydrafacial you choose. It’s known to be quite fast and the downtime is zero - you can return to your activities as soon as possible.

How long do HydraFacial results last?

Typically, the results of the HydraFacial will last 4-6 weeks and it is recommended to re-book within this time frame for optimal results. With continuous sessions between 4-6 weeks, you will be able to enjoy healthier and more youthful skin.

Ideally, you also need to take good care of your skin as well - apply sunscreen whenever you go outside and avoid too much sun exposure. You will be able to retain your healthy skin and keep your skin tight and soft!

Does a HydraFacial make you peel?

In some cases, the HydraFacial can have a slight peeling effect if you are using retinol, AHA and BHAs at home, or if you are on Accutane medications or have a compromised immune system or skin.

But it won’t be permanent and the skin won’t peel in big patches - you will be able to enjoy smooth skin in a few days. There’s no downtime for HydraFacial, so you can enjoy the activities you always do without concern.

Should I wash my face after a HydraFacial?

It is not advised to wash your face after a HydraFacial as you will have antioxidants, hydrating and healing ingredients infused in the skin. This will ensure that all the serum you received during the treatment will penetrate your skin properly and give you the glow you deserve.

Can you wear makeup after a HydraFacial?

Makeup can be worn after the HydraFacial; however, it is advised to keep the skin clean post-treatment so that you don't have to wash all the great stuff at the end of the night. The oily feeling on your skin is the healthy serums that were applied during the session. Plus, it’s a break for your pores so they won’t be clogged again.

Does HydraFacial remove dark spots?

HydraFacial has various serums that help make the skin visibly tighter, firmer, and seemingly flawless. The booster serum, Britenol helps to reduce the appearance of dark spots if used every 4-6 weeks in your HydraFacial. This can lessen the visibility of age spots, sun damage, and old pimple scars through HydraFacial sessions.

Does HydraFacial cause breakouts?

Hydrafacial will not cause breakouts; however, due to the suction, any congestion found under the skin can move closer to the surface and a breakout can occur. As you receive regular HydraFacials, your skin will not be as congested and breakouts will reduce.

With a few sessions, your skin will be able to breathe and be cleaner - HydraFacial is also ideal for people with known sensitive skin.
